The Blackfoot double was installed in 1974 and provided access to the north boundary of the mountain. While not the first lift at Grand Targhee, the Blackfoot double provided plenty of powder dreams for skiers over its 42 years in service. The lift was replaced in 2016 with a high-speed quad.
